Hi Obed, thank you for your question. Once electricity hits water it is very difficult to prevent shock for anyone that comes into contact with it. Rubber soles/shoes are traditionally suggested as the most effective footwear, but in the above incident the best option would be to maintain the cables and poles so that they don't fall down.
