How to preserve fresh tomatoes in transparent plastic containers?
Question from Lanre Sanni about how to preserve fresh tomatoes.
I was wondering if anyone could help out with information on the preservation of fresh tomatoes (and other vegetables). Basically, I want to preserve fresh tomatoes in transparent plastic containers (not metal cans) in sizes of 1kg, 2kg and 3 kg. The tomatoes will be preserved whole. What am looking for is the technical inftormation that could be used to do this type of preservation. The aim is to deliver the same outcome as metal tin preservation used for (whole) plum tomatoes. I hope this makes sense.
