Soil and Water suitability for growing palm trees in Zimbabwe
Abbye from North Zimbabwe wants to grow Palm trees and is seeking advice on soil and water suitability for the plant. Can anyone on the forum be able to help him?

This is really a local question - and will depend on the type of Palm tree - e.g. date palm or oil? Seeing what is already growing there should give the answer! There may be a national agricultural research centre that can provide more specific guidance.
